Approach/Specialties
Erin Curto is a Licensed Professional Counselor and doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at Felician University. She provides a collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment grounded in evidence-based care. Erin works with clients to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and navigate challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Her approach is developmentally informed, trauma-aware, and tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals.
Erin has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults across school-based, outpatient, and university counseling settings. She treats a range of concerns including anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. Erin also has a strong interest in supporting individuals navigating academic stress, identity development, and interpersonal challenges. She incorporates psychoeducation, skill-building, and culturally responsive care into her work.
Experience and Training
Erin is currently completing her doctoral training at Felician University and serves as a doctoral extern at Seton Hall University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, where she provides individual and group therapy to college students. She previously worked as a school-based therapist at West Bergen Mental Healthcare, supporting K–8 students with emotional, behavioral, and academic needs, including conducting risk assessments and delivering social-emotional learning interventions.
